Ensuring that employees comply with physical distancing when possible. All clients will be by appointment only and will wait in their cars until called. Our waiting area will remain closed and no more than 10 people will be onsite at one time. At times, chairs will be moved throughout the salon so that employees and guests can keep a 6ft. distance from one another.

All employees and individual contractors will keep a log of their clients/guests. Doors will remain locked to limit traffic flow (by appointment only).

Salon stations are 5 ft. apart. We have scattered schedules so that stylists can work 10 ft. apart. On occasion, this may not be the case and the guidelines for acceptable face coverings will be followed. When employees are working one on one with their client, a face mask and face shield will be worn.

Lunch breaks for stylists will be scattered throughout the day, or they will eat offsite.

Millennium Hair Studio will have face masks available for all employees; individual contractors will purchase their own. Face masks will be available in the event a guest or employee or contractor does not have one of their own. Laundry is available on-site for proper cleaning of cloth masks. Clean masks will be stored in sealed plastic bags in each station.

All stylists have their own implements and stations with their own supplies. Limited sharing will take place. All surfaces and shared items will be sanitized and disinfected per state requirements for salons, after each service.

Hand sanitizer is available throughout the salon and the restroom is available and stocked with soap, water and paper towels.

All employees and individual contractors will be responsible for cleaning the restroom after themselves or any guests utilizing proper salon-grade cleaners. (Barbicide, germicide, etc). All employees and individual contractors have been COVID-19 certified through Barbicide.

There are signs posted throughout the salon to remind personnel and guests to adhere to proper hygiene, social distancing, and appropriate use of PPE along with cleaning and disinfecting protocols.

All employees/individual contractors will let the owner of Millennium Hair Studio know immediately upon notification of a positive COVID-19 test. In the event of a positive COVID-19 test within the business, all areas of the salon, including doorknobs and handles will be cleaned, sanitized and disinfected with our industry approved cleaning products. (hospital-grade).

In the event of a positive COVID-19 test within the business, all clients/guests of the salon will be notified by phone.

All employees will have a temperature check and questionnaire completed at the start of each work day.
